PHOTOGRAPHY AND COMMUNITY PSYCOLOGY
Photovoice is a scientific technique that mixes ethical photography and community psychology in order to empower the life of people. I have made projects in the field of integration of migrants in society, of long term consequences in victim of abuses, and I am currently leading an Italian national project for European Community about solution of adaptation to climate change.
The Naya-Bohm historical archive is Heritage of Italian Minister of Culture that has more than 20000 photographies in glass plates of Venice of 150 years ago.
After the high tide of 2019 in Venice that has damaged luckily just a small part of the archive, I am in charge to digitalize and restore the entire archive.
Books are a testimony.
I have realized several books regarding different fields, from academic research, to photographic books, to interactive ebook.
Recently have been published 2 books: one about the photographic project I have made for Guido Fluri Foundation and the project "Justice Initiative", named SHAME, and the second one is a collaboration with Alberto Toso Fei and Desi Marangon named "I graffiti di Venezia", a unique masterpiece of historical graffiti that tell the secular story of the city of Venice.
BEHIND VENICE MAP
Discover the real artisans
of Venice
A voluntary project for helping the real artisans of Venice.
After realizing and giving to them for free pictures, portraits, videos, and virtual tours of almost 100 artisans of the city, we created an interactive map that aims to discover the real artisans of the city of Venice, today submerged by mass tourism and low-quality shops.
