From Italy to Sweden, from Romania to Portugal. In recent months, I portrayed and video-interviewed nearly 100 victims of child abuse throughout Europe. Never has the dimension of the problem been captured in this way.
I wanted to document the injustices and give the victims a voice. The project «Shame - European Stories» is a tool for creating awareness in citizen, is under the patronage of the Council of Europe and has been launched by Guido Fluri Foundation. From the portraits and video-interview is born a book translated in 10 languages and an exhibition that travel around Europe in order to increase the awareness in all european citizen and institutions with the final goal of changing the law in terms of protection of minors.
